Driver Support Information
There are two types of drivers compatible with Microsoft® Windows 10.
Brother original driver
Brother original drivers are developed by Brother. These drivers have the full driver functionality with Brother features.
For the latest drivers, we recommend using the 'Go' links in the chart below to take you to the download page for your model on the Brother Solutions Center.
Built-in driver
The built-in drivers are already included with Windows 10 or are available through Windows update. These drivers are also referred to as 'in-box drivers' or 'in-OS drivers'. The built-in drivers support the basic functions of your Brother machine: printing and scanning *1.
